Emi was hit by a car while running away from dog catchers. She had a broken leg and pneumothorax and the vets had to take out the air from her lungs.

Her surgery was a very difficult one. The vet put a fixator on her because they were not allowed to keep her under anesthesia for a long time.

After months of extensive recovery it was discovered that Emi needed to have her injured leg amputated as it did not heal properly.

Emi is sponsored by incredible Friends Of Animals in Need. We thank them for their help with covering her extensive medical bills.

Emi is a the moment recovering slowly but steadily.

Adopting from our shelter is probably easier than you think. Before adoption, all dogs are vaccinated, microchipped, treated for worms and fleas, and have their own passports. To help defer those costs, we ask for a donation fee of 500 Euros (approx £430) which includes adoption fee and transportation costs. As the transport costs do vary, we can help with fundraising for these costs if necessary.
