Tyler is looking for a new home due to his owner passing away unexpectedly.

He is a 5-year-old neutered male.He measures 26 inches (66cm) and weighs 28kg. He is quiet and clean at home and loves people although can be timid at first. He has never raced or worked;he has simply been a treasured family pet.

Taylor loves to play with toys and brings a ball back for you to play with him, although doesn’t always give it up. He loves food and will do almost anything for a treat and is gentle when taking things from hand.

Tyler is good with children, he has lived with older teenagers and has experience of younger children visiting his home. He has met cats and appears scared of them in the house but likes to chase so couldn’t be 100% trusted in the open unless carefully introduced.

He is currently living with another dog but previously lived as an only dog so would be happy with either. He is fine with dogs he meets on the lead, occasionally can be nervous.

A secure garden would be a must as Tyler likes to venture out if he can find a hole. He is a typical sighthound off the lead, he likes to roam although his recall is good if he knows you have treats.

His favorite thing is a sofa or chair in front of the fire and company. He deserves his happy ending after his world being turned upside down.

Adopting from our shelter is probably easier than you think. Before adoption, all dogs are vaccinated, microchipped, treated for worms and fleas, and have their own passports. To help defer those costs, we ask for a donation fee of 500 Euros (approx £430) which includes adoption fee and transportation costs. As the transport costs do vary, we can help with fundraising for these costs if necessary.
