The reason why we insist that potential adopters for this dog are experienced dog owners is 2-fold :-

1. The dog is timid with some humans because of its past experiences on the streets.

2. There may be a need for extra training once the dog arrives in the UK e.g. extra lead training because of the dog's traumatic experience at the hands of the dog catchers.

We trust that you understand why we insist on this for our dogs.

MEET OUR PRECIOUS TEN.

Ten is a realy good and timid dog. He loves other dogs but seems to prefer to spend time on his own and choose when to join in the play. He is a cuddly giant but afraid of new people. He is also afraid of the vet and seems to dislike having his blood taken or being touched around his neck. This is all due to past trauma. But once he knows you are a friend he will love you forever.

Thank you.

Adopting from our shelter is probably easier than you think. Before adoption, all dogs are vaccinated, microchipped, treated for worms and fleas, and have their own passports. To help defer those costs, we ask for a donation fee of 500 Euros (approx £430) which includes adoption fee and transportation costs. As the transport costs do vary, we can help with fundraising for these costs if necessary.
